White Caslte Says "Daylight Cravings"

All White Castle restaurants will offered 2 free hamburgers to each customer that visited White Castle in the wee hours of the morning on Sunday March 9, 2008, between 1:00 and 2:00 a.m. standard time, just prior to the time change.

"We're open 24 hours," said Jamie Richardson, White Castle Director of
Marketing. "On March 9, we refuse to lose an hour so we're offering two
free burgers to cravers who come in for this late night celebration. When
it comes to being proactive, Cravers are ahead of the pack -- so what
better way to acknowledge this than with some free tasty burgage on us."

I think this is a perfect example of how well and how much White Castle cares and values their customers.

So if you don’t feel like driving down I-69 for a Slyder. You can walk to you kitchen instead.

I was surfing around the internet trying to find more information on White Castle and I came across a cool way to enjoy sylders from the comfort of my own home. A White Castle cook book.
They're all included in the newest recipe book from White Castle that is now available. By the Sackful: A Scrapbook with Recipes from 85 Years of White Castle Craving celebrates the past 14 years of the annual recipe contest and lets customers create their favorite dish made with White Castles.
The recipe book is a way to celebrate the heritage of the company and to honor Cravers and their stories of their White Castle memories. Also included are vintage photographs, advertising campaign visuals and posters from the years gone by. The book is currently available online for $14.95 at www.whatyoucrave.com.
Proceeds from the recipe book will be donated to Turkeys 4 America, Inc. - - a charity dedicated to providing turkeys to families in need across the country. Dan and Betsy Nally of the Boston area started the organization when they were 9 and 5 respectively, now they are 18 and 14. "Turkeys 4 America is a wonderful organization that we are proud to partner with and we are excited to donate the book's proceeds to their cause," commented Kim Bartley, VP of Marketing and Site Development.

Crave On

I contacted White Castle Systems Inc to see if they could give me any information on their fiscal year for 2007. They told me that they would have to email me the information and call me back. I received an email 2 days latter stating that White Castle Systems, INC is a privately held company and does not report or publish any kind of financial information to the public. How rude? I would think that would enjoy a person taking interest in their company, but apparently that isn’t the case here. But yet again they have no social responsibility to publish earns and losses to the public.

One more thing. After they stated that in the email, they ended the email with their slogan “Crave On”. I wish I still had the email but it was like “We won’t give you any financial in information, and oh yea Crave On.” Thanks again, if anyone is reading
